The Finnish Forest Industries Federation strives to influence decision-making in the EU and in international arenas together with the following organizations, among others:

The Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI) represents a total of 830 pulp, paper and paperboard companies with over 1,220 production plants in Europe. CEPI has 17 member countries.

The European Confederation of Woodworking Industries (CEI-Bois) is an umbrella organization representing the woodworking and furniture industries. It has 35 members, which are national associations or branch organizations. The European woodworking industry includes more than 100,000 companies employing around 2.7 million workers in 25 European countries.

The International Council of Forest and Paper Associations (ICFPA) is a cooperation forum whose purpose is to represent the global forest and paper industry in international connections and matters.

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) produces information on forestry, among other things, and strives to influence the development of the forest sector globally.
